Welcome to Sweden!
Junior Handling & Child with Dog – Practical Information
Junior Handling and Child with Dog will take place at Euro Terrier Show on Saturday, 5 September at Ulriksdal Palace Park.
We are very pleased to welcome Paavo Tervonen from Finland as judge for both competitions. Paavo is one of the Nordic countries’ leading terrier handlers, with an impressive record in the show ring. He also enjoyed great success during his own years competing in Junior Handling.
Child with Dog – up to 10 years
A fun and playful opportunity for our youngest participants to have a go at showing a dog in the ring. No previous experience is required – the focus is on taking part, having fun and enjoying the experience together with the dog.
Junior Handling – from 10 years
Whether it is your very first time in the ring or you have competed before, this is a chance to have fun, develop your handling skills and enjoy showing your dog. The competition is also a qualifier for the Swedish Terrier Club’s Junior Handling Club Championship in November.
Registration
No advance entry is required. Registration takes place on site at the show secretariat.
We hope that as many young terrier enthusiasts as possible will take the opportunity to join us in the ring. Come and give it a try!
